And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (Revelation 6:12)
The moon will turn to blood, which means that the entire nominal denominational Church has become merely emotional communication and no longer reflects the light of the teaching of Christ.
I want to say that you should not look for hints of global cataclysms in the material world in these prophecies. All this is already coming true.

For [it is] the life of all flesh; the blood of it [is] for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh [is] the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off. (Leviticus 17:14)
The soul of the body is blood. Blood corresponds to the soul. Therefore, the moon, which is the image of the nominal Church or ancient Israel as the nominal society of the Lord, when it becomes bloody, means that the Church and the Jews no longer reflect the teaching of the Messiah (the teaching is light), but this is just human communication, pleasing to their souls.
