Sins committed against other people must be confessed publicly, and forgiveness must come from those people against whom these sins were committed. The reference to the words of Jesus spoken to the Apostles in this case is irrelevant: the Christian religion has the same attitude towards the apostles as the murderer has to do with the property of his victim.
From the 4th century, when the Christian religion became the state religion of the Roman Empire, it broke off relations with God and indulged in fornication with the world. At the same time, this abomination lived in wealth and luxury, at the expense of the righteous, who continued to create the truth, while remaining in this Christian gang.

False churchmen invented fake theological theories to come up with an excuse how Jesus Christ is able to pay for the sins of the whole world. These perverted theories allowed them to receive bribes for the arbitrary forgiveness of sins.
Protestantism is not far from this perverted practice. They gladly accepted into their fellowship criminals, money-givers, state liars, and all the sins of these people are the sins of these communities, in practice most denominations have a negative balance (the sum of righteousness minus the sum of sins), so all of them are spiritual bankrupt. They do not have the Holy Spirit.
Well, there comes a time when it becomes clear who has a supply of oil in the lamps, and who does not have this oil, see Matthew 25.

them that dwell on the earth — This is not said about people on planet Earth, this expression indicates people who are in Christian denominations, as opposed to people, "that dwell in heaven". The people who dwell in heaven obey God and the laws established by Jesus Christ (see the Sermon on the Mount). No murderers, robbers, rapists, rich people will ever live in heaven, regardless of whether their sins were forgiven in their confessions.

You are offered cheap welfare recipes, the wisdom of the Bible is debased to caricature brochures with lists of "spiritual laws." The main thing that distinguishes this harlot: faith in its charismatic leaders, or in the Popes, or in some legalized saints.
