For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
(1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)
… that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord … — This is said about all living, about all believers, at all times - in contrast to the "dead", that is, unbelievers, or fallen away from faith in Jesus Christ, that is, who did not remain faithful to God.
... shall not prevent them which are asleep — This is said about the dead Jews who did not keep their lives with God, because the Jewish people rejected Jesus Christ.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God … — This refers to the moment when the holy righteous of all nations will enter the Eastern gate of the Third Temple, built in Israel in accordance with the prophecy of Ezekiel, and after the closing of the Eastern gate, it will be announced that God has entered this gate:
Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut. (Ezekiel 44:2)
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Revelarion 11:15)
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. (Revelarion 3:9)
… and the dead in Christ shall rise first: — This phrase has a double meaning and both meanings are true. First, it says about the dead Jews from the Jewish people, from Judaism, who have lost their connection with the source of life, that is, who have lost contact with God. Secondly, it also speaks of physically dead believers in Jesus Christ, from any nation: they will be resurrected in the Jewish people when the Jewish people will receive into their midst the righteous who entered the Eastern gate of the Third Temple in the name of Jesus Christ.
Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. — This verse speaks of the final stage of judgment, when the Jewish people as a whole will accept the Third Temple and the saints from the nations gathered there as the coming of Jesus Christ. This will happen after the 6th vial of anger. "Clouds" is a synonym for "crowd" or "many people". The great city of Yahweh Shammah, which will appear in Israel after the 7th vial of wrath, will be the resurrection of the righteous, of all times and from all nations. This appearance of the heavenly city will destroy the remnants of the prodigal Christianity and all kinds of prodigal religions of the present world.

This entire period will take several years. (1) Awakening caused by the construction of the Temple, (2) the appearance of the elect from the four winds at the Eastern gate of the Temple, (3) the return of the Jewish people to God, (4) the appearance of the city of saints, Yahweh Shammah. You can now easily understand other passages of Scripture:
The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify [themselves] against Judah. In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David [shall be] as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
(Zechariah 12:7-9)
And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
(Isaiah 4:1)
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days [it shall come to pass,] that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard [that] God [is]with you.
(Zechariah 8:23)
