In the middle of paradise grew a fig tree. It was the Tree of Knowledge. The young vine of the Tree of Life was entwined around the trunk of this fig tree on the one hand, and the wise and cunning Serpent entwined the trunk of this fig tree on the other side.
When primitive people, savages, began to comprehend the spiritual world, when people gave names to abstract concepts and the language appeared the names of the instinctive qualities of the soul, "lion" is courage, "ox" is hard-working, "wolf" is predation, "donkey" is stubborn, "hare" is cowardice — among these qualities there was not one that would become a person's assistant.
Then the Lord God took and created from the "bone", that is, from the essence of this primitive, ancient man, helper, "wife", that is, the opinion of others, and Adam, that is, Man began to rely on the opinion of others. Eve, that is, Opinion became an assistant for every modern person.
This man, Adam, was a carnal man, an individualist. Such a person seeks first of all his own benefit, he is an egoist. Therefore, the Lord God forbade the carnal Adam to eat the fruits of the Tree of Knowledge: the egoist will use all knowledge to his own advantage to live at the expense of other people.
But people are people: someone began to eat the fruits of Knowledge, because the Serpent, that is, cunning, gave such advice.
Adam saw: all around are already tasting Knowledge. Who first started - it does not matter. When people tasted the fruits of the tree of Knowledge, they saw their sinful nature. In order to somehow hide their egoistic nature, people began to justify themselves with the help of the leaves of the same fig tree of Knowledge: they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
The Lord God saw that people had broken His commandment. God cursed earthly wisdom: in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. God cursed the human environment: the birth of the future human type is accompanied by torment, and the leaders dominate the human environment.
In the book of Judges there is a wonderful parable about how the Blackthorn of general condemnation began to reign over humanity. A person who eats the fruits of the Tree of Knowledge sees the sins of other people, he cannot but condemn these sinful people, and he himself becomes a victim of the same condemnation from others: judge not, that ye be not judged, for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged.
When the time came, and the elect of Israel people grew up on earth, the Lord God decided to plant in the midst of this people his Paradise Fig tree: God gave Moses the Law, which teaches to distinguish Good and Evil.
The fig tree was supposed to bear fruit, the fulfillment of the Law was to bring about the result: the righteousness of the Jews. When Jesus Christ came, He wanted to taste the fruits of this fig tree, but this tree was fruitless. Jesus Christ cursed this fig tree and it immediately dried up.
A dried fig tree was cut down and a cross was made from a felled tree, on which Jesus Christ, the Righteous, was hanged, instead of the fruit that was to grow on this tree.
But here's a miracle: Instead of Jesus Christ, the Serpent was nailed on this tree.
The New Testament lists 12 or 13 fruits of the Spirit. Each fruit of the Spirit from the New Testament corresponds to one of the trees mentioned in the Hebrew Bible.
Love — apples Joy — grapes, wine Peace — mulberry berries Longsuffering — almond nuts Goodness — etrog (citron) Gentleness — the scent of myrtle Faith (faithfulness) — olives, olive oil Meekness — the beauty of willow Temperance — pomegranate Holiness — date fruits Truth — oranges Righteousness — figs Wisdom — walnut
In the spiritual sense, trees in Holy Scripture correspond to lengthy processes in man or in humanity, which can produce results (fruit) or be fruitless.
Everything described in the first chapters of Genesis is a parable. This should be understood not literally, but as images, similar to images from the book of Revelation. All Scripture is written by one Author, and all images from different books of the Bible correspond to each other. Science does not contradict the Bible, the theory of evolution and the creation of the world described in the Bible speak of various things.
If several houses are connected by a common element, for example, a rope, then they are considered one house. Is there such a halacha?
The vine cannot grow by itself, it must have support. In Revelation there is a picture:
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner]of fruits, [and]yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were]for the healing of the nations. (Revelation 22: 2)
When all the trees are entwined with one vine of the Holy Spirit, it is one tree. Therefore, one tree has 12 or 13 different fruits (in a year 12 or 13 months).

In addition to these 12 or 13 heavenly trees, there are other spiritual trees. But they were not honored with paradise.
For example, cherry. As I think, Lot's wife in Sodom had a cherry orchard, and so she looked back. Cherry is sensitivity, sentimentality.
Maybe peach is tenderness, but this is my guess.
You can try to find the spiritual meaning of some trees in the works of eminent writers. Good writers do not miss such details.

We are used to and imagine trees in space, but there may be trees in time. Trees are remarkable in that they use dead generations of cells to elevate us, now living generations of cells.
Each of us is a descendant of many different processes inherited from different "trees". To become solid as an oak, to be meek and obedient like a river willow, to be sensitive like a cherry, to condemn everyone in a row like prickly blackthorn. Where do our spiritual qualities come from? We can inherit these qualities, seeing in front of us an example of such people. Integrating into such structures, we, as it were, become the cells of trees that have been growing in the human environment for millennia.
The main tree is the Tree of Life. This is a vine. The joy of life, the heady wine of joy. If there is no joy in life, then this is not life.
Each of us is a part of different trees in time, we stand on the shoulders of previous generations that are no longer with us in this space, but they remain forever in time.
When I read about trees in Eden, I see these trees, trees in time. And when I read the Apocalypse, then there about these same trees:
The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
