Has anyone thought of making a 360 VR model for Google Cardboard or a 360 youtube film to let people have a more close experience of the architecture?

Yes of course. Now the 3d model of the temple has been significantly changed. This year, some significant errors were corrected. Because of the complication of 3D models, now there are problems with visualization, because my computer can not perform rendering of such a complex structure. I work alone, and therefore I have to do everything myself: the SketchUp model, then the rendering, is not clear in which program. V-Ray crashes, exports to the Vue takes a very long time. The updated model does not yet have some details: the gates, ladders, fences. The work on the model is moving very slowly.
Two years ago the model was simpler, and rendering of one 1280px frame took about 20 minutes of computer time, two seconds of video per day. Now it can be much longer.

I have the last few days tried several ways of getting a model onto my samsung galaxy s6 and some VR googles, but even the old model is too complicated for sketchfab, kubity.com looks promising but has some error so they cannot convert any sketchup file at the moment
Now im trying to download the unity 3d game engine development kit, maby it can do it

What format of the model file would be more convenient for you? In the original, I create the files in SketchUp. A huge file size is obtained, firstly, because of the large size of the textures, and secondly, because of the abundance of small parts, a large number of polygons on palms and cherubs.
If the format of the SKP. is suitable for you, then I might try removing the textures and additional geometry of complex shapes. Now I have a two-dimensional scheme of the temple complex and the first floor of the House of Sanctuary, these schemes have a small file size.

What file size would be more acceptable for you? What types of 3D model files can you use?

I dont know as i dont have much experience with 3d. Sketchfab is free so maby you could give it a try to see what will work?

I could not load, my browser always showed a warning that the script on this page is not responding. In addition, I have a very slow Internet, so less than 20% of the file was downloaded there in 5 minutes of download.
It seems to me that very few people use such services to view models. The most common way is to watch a video on Youtube.

The fact is that the former model of the Temple has become obsolete. 30 rooms on the platform should be located not on 3, but on 4 sides. There must be galleries in front of the gallery in the inner and outer courts. There should be not 4 but 6 office buildings in the inner court. Kitchens should be rotated 45 degrees. And this is not even the whole list of changes that appeared in February-March of this year.

I like the old model just fine ;-)
The idea of the temple as i see it is Gods perfect plan for unity.
How is Binah doing?

How is Binah doing?
I also liked the old model before. Until I found a few verses of Ezekiel's prophecy, which the old model did not shows.
Binah is dissatisfied with the new galleries. So she walks back and forth in our garden and watches radish grow and cucumbers do not emerge:)
